 HOW TO PARTECIPATE

You will foster your idea with inspirational trainers and mentors, in close collaboration with established companies and organisations.

There are two ways:

1. Be one of the winners of our Third Call for Solutions – Deadline 3 April 2018 CLOSED!

You will partecipate for free to the Global Innovation Camp! Travel and accomodoation costs will be covered by the Open Innovation in Agrifood Programme’s partners.

OR

2. Apply to join the Global Innovation Camp. Deadline 25 April 2018

You can partecipate for free to alla activities of the Global Innovation Camp. Travel and accomodation are not included.

Monday 7 and Tuesday 8, the Camp will be hosted by the University of Foggia, Department of Agronomics.

Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10, the Camp will be hosted by the University of Foggia, Department of Humanities.

Field visits to discover the Regional Agrifood Ecosystem of the Puglia Region

One field visit will be organized in order to discover an agrifood company working in the Puglia ecosystem.

The agrifood ecosystem in the Puglia Region is an extraordinary laboratory of innovation because agrifood is the most traditional sector in the economy of the region and at the same time has started an new path toward innovation. The sector is an excellence in terms of quality of raw materials. The 11% of the national agricultural exports come from Puglia. Among the most important agricultural products there are vine and olive trees. Here research and innovation are very intense activities. The topics of interest are traceability, quality and safety, also the wide use of biotechnology and technologies for the processing, preservation and packaging.

One day event organized in cooperation with ARTI (Puglia Regional Agency for Innovation)

The Puglia Regional Agency for Innovation organizes a one day public event called “Made in Puglia” within the initiative “InControCorrente” a cycle of 5 conferences throughout Puglia devoted to define new growth scenarios for the society and citizens of Puglia. The purpose of the event will be to build paths, imagine models, simulate methodologies, share ideas and projects to make people grow, to develop skills and professionalism, to encourage employability and put them at the service of the production system in Puglia. The event will be a moment in which regional institutions, Universities, companies and civil society organizations will meet for discussion the future directions of the agrifood sector. Final event “AgroFactor!” in collaboration with ARTI offering networking and pitching opportunities

The Final Event will be a one day public event devoted to the pitches of participants’ to the Global Innovation Camp. A jury of experts will evaluate the proposals and will reward the three best proposal with a three months acceleration programmes.

Welcome networking lunch and dinner: both events will provide participants with the opportunity to meet the others and network since the very start of the conference.
